This midweight cord has a little drape and good structure while retaining enough give to be comfortable. It’s front face is covered in soft, velvety 4mm ribs. (8 wale-8 ribs per inch) with a slight lustre. The reverse is slightly textured but nice and soft to wear against skin. Completely opaque.
Suggested Projects: Structured garments. Jackets, Skirts, Trousers, pinafores & dungarees. Also great for accessories like bags.
Special Care Note: Washing will fluff up the pile and create a richer colour in the cord. Iron using a towel as a pressing cloth to prevent crushing the pile. Finish all raw edges before washing or your laundry will be covered in tiny, corduroy ‘ants.’
