The Needle Inserter and Threader is designed with a ‘D’ shaped hole for the shank of a needle.
To fit the needle into the ‘D’, place the flat side of the needle towards the back, slide the needle into position in the machine and tighten the screw.
On its other end it also has a threader that will work on most machine and hand sewing needles.
