Swoosh around in effortless style with this on-trend dress. Endlessly versatile, pick cool cotton for summer, cosy needlecord for winter or drapey viscose for an added swish!
Lyra has an easy-fitting bodice with bust darts and a button-front opening. The collar is a classic two-piece collar and stand. Choose from short sleeves or full-length billowy sleeves with elasticated cuffs, knee-length or mid-length gathered skirt, and an optional narrow tie to cinch the waist. And of course, it comes with side seam pockets!
Supplies
Fabric (see below), matching thread, 0.5m (5/8yd) interfacing, 5 x 12-15mm (1/2-5/8in) buttons, sewing machine and basic tools, including a buttonhole foot.
The long sleeve version requires an additional 0.5m (5/8yd) x 10mm (3/8in) wide elastic, plus 2 safety pins.

Lightweight woven fabrics that gather easily, such as cotton lawn, poplin, voile, seersucker, viscose (rayon) or crêpe.
