This yarn-dyed seersucker has a lightly structured and slightly crisp handle with a light drape. It’s surface is matte, with a gorgeous rippled texture that follows the woven stripes. This texture gives the fabric a bit of volume and bounce as well as resistance to wrinkling. It is mostly opaque.
Ironing note: Only iron lightly and where necessary, to protect the lovely texture of this fabric. If flattening occurs, simply wash it to return the fabric to its natural rippled state.
Stripe width: Approx. 2mm
Suggested Projects: All kinds of blouses, tops & shirts. Dresses & light pinafores. Can be used for very light pants and shorts (eg, elastic waisted). Great for volume, easy to sew.
