Moscow Cotton Velvet – Bottle Green

A short pile velvet with a luxurious, and slightly lustrous finish. It has body and some crispness with a small amount of drape and will hold its shape well without being stiff. Overall it feels light but is extremely opaque. Each colour is very vibrant and has has both dark and light tones that shift with the light.

Note: Velvet has a very strong nap, consider how you will cut your pattern pieces before deciding how much to buy. (All your pieces will need to be placed in the same direction).

Suggested Projects: Pants, shorts, skirts, light jackets & coats, dresses & tunics. Great for tailored items with sewn details but will also make impact in more relaxed and simple designs. . This weight also works really well for accessories (like tote bags) & cushions.
