Bobbi Skirt + Pinafore | Tilly & the Buttons

Say hello to Bobbi, a button-down skirt or pinafore that’s both classic and versatile. It looks so different depending on the fabric you choose and the details that you decide to add.

Includes a choice of three kinds of pockets with optional flaps, and belt loops. It has a curved waistband and slim-look bib for a more tailored look.

Supplies

Fabric (see below), 0.6m iron-on interfacing (similar weight to your fabric), matching thread and optional topstitch thread, sewing machine and basic tools, including buttonhole foot.

Skirt version: 6 x 15mm buttons with shank, plus 1-3 extra buttons for optional flaps,

Pinafore version: 2 x 30-35mm wide dungaree buckles and no-sew jean buttons, 9 x 15mm buttons with shank for sizes 1-4 and 10 for sizes 5-10, plus 1-3 extra buttons for optional flaps,

Pinafore and/or hip pocket versions: 0.4m medium-weight cotton for lining
