Lotta is a perfect dressmaking project for beginners or a satisfyingly speedy sew for more experienced stitchers.
It has a blousy bodice and flared skirt with a cinched, elasticated waist. Choose between knee or midi length with short grown-on sleeves or bracelet-length drop shoulder sleeves and optional deep patch pockets.
Supplies
Fabric (see below), matching thread, for woven fabrics 0.2m (¼yd) iron-on interfacing (similar weight to your fabric), 2 safety pins, your waist measurement in 10mm (⅜in) elastic, sewing machine and basic tools.
